The following is a listing of some of the local calls for service involving the Modesto Fire Department, which staffs Stations 27 and 28 in Oakdale; and the Stanislaus Consolidated Fire Department, covering the Riverbank area.
Calls were logged during the time period of Tuesday, Dec. 15 through Monday, Dec. 21. Days not listed had no reports of significant incidents in this area.
SATURDAY, DEC. 19
7:33 p.m. – Modesto, Ceres, and Stanislaus Consolidated Fire units responded to a fire on River Road/Ninth Street. Crews arrived to find a well involved motor home parked along River Road near an auto wrecking yard that was threatening structures nearby.
