Eve Lipman, or GG as her great-grandchildren call her, is not exactly ecstatic about her age of 100 being revealed, according to information from her family, but she is making the most of it by celebrating quietly at home with family and the support of excellent Visiting Angels caregivers.
Born in Minneapolis on July 9, 1921, Eve spent most of her youth living near Lake Minnetonka, Minnesota, where she became an avid swimmer and enjoyed fishing.
As a World War II veteran, Eve served active duty in the Navy as a pharmacist mate, 1st Class, in Long Beach, California. In 1946, Eve married Robert “Bob” Lipman, (1916-2003) also a World War II veteran, who served as a lieutenant commander in the Navy Civil Engineer Corps.
