Police officer is merely a misdemeanor. It does come with potential jail time. A Fairfax County man is behind bars accused of trying to set his childs mother on fire. It happened this morning on arlington drive in the mount vernon area. Investigators say lamar thomas started arguing with the victim as she dropped off their 1year old on the way to work. Investigators say he doused her with a flammable liquid and tried to set her on fire. The woman ran out of the car and thomas was arrested. New developments in the comet pingpong pizza gate case tonight. The man accused of bringing a gun into the restaurant and firing it now faces federal charges. Local charges have been dropped as a result. Stephanie ramirez was there as edgar welch went before a judge this afternoon. Is he still locked up or is he out . Reporter still locked up.
