The storm moving very, very slowly. Its also taking on notsotropical characteristics. It doesnt look like a hurricane even though winds are still sustained at 75 Miles Per Hour in the center of that storm. Its starting to lose the tropical characteristics as it moves off to the north and its moving away from the new jersey coast line. Another little tick to the east in the track tonight which is great news because it will keep the impacts even further offshore. People have been lining up, all day along the sea wall here in North Wildwood, right to the edge of the storm because you have these enormous 10foot waves, that are smashing against the sea wall, shooting up spray. Just an impressive shot. Pan over across the ocean where you can see it is just so churned up, one set after another of large waves, and were still several hours away from high tide, but we see waves are already going up against the dunes, it is causing beach erosion, so there is a wow factor and there is a little bit of the sadness as the cost is to the beaches. From watching, to dodging waves the wrong sea wall in north wild wood, this video by zeka shot high tide monday night shows a scene few have ever seen before a storm surge with tall waves that pounded the wildwoods northern tip.
