Neuss Der Neusser Landtagsabgeordnete Jörg Geerlings gibt einen Überblick zu den Ausgaben im Bildungsbereich. Dabei habe man einen Rekord aufgestellt. Die Stadtverwaltung fordert er auf zu handeln. Doch die weist die Kritik zurück.
Von Andreas Buchbauer Der Neusser Landtagsabgeordnete Jörg Geerlings (CDU) hat eine Zwischenbilanz zur finanziellen Ausstattung der Schulen vorgelegt. Demnach hat das Land den Neusser Schulen seit 2017 rund 40 Millionen Euro zur Verfügung gestellt. Damit habe die schwarz-gelbe Landesregierung einen Rekord gesetzt. „Noch nie hat eine Landesregierung so viel Geld in Bildung investiert“, teilt Geerlings mit.
