of the last seven years or so of coverage but we are glad to have you in the seat. thank you to all of you for joining us here at home. this is what it sounded like at the chamber of the tennessee house of representatives you ban books, you ban drag, kids are still in body bags. that was the scene at the tennessee capitol earlier today. republicans in the state legislature voted to expel two democratic house of representatives from the tennessee house. they voted to kick two democrats out of office. it was an unprecedented, and it was a drastic move, and it all started last week. that is when hundreds of school students came to the tennessee capitol to call for new gun safety measures after a shooting opened fire at an elementary school in nashville killing three 9-year-old students and three adults during that protest, a handful of democratic lawmakers stood before the house chamber they had megaphones and they were not shy about standing in solidarity with the protester
