Egyptian filmmaker Ali El Arabi’s first doc feature Captains of Zaatari will have its world premiere at the Sundance Film Festival in the World Documentary Competition. Shot in narrative-style the doc was filmed over six years and follows two best friends in a Jordan refugee camp who dream of becoming pro soccer players. El Arabi previously produced documentaries for National Geographic, ZDF and Stern Germany. He also runs his own Cairo-based production company, Ambient Light, which focuses on topics relevant to the MENA region including refugee displacement and women’s and children’s rights. Speaking exclusively to Express.co.uk, Laurence Llewelyn-Bowen, 55, revealed what fans can expect from the upcoming Changing Rooms reboot, which will see him host the show alongside his new co-star Davina McCall, 53. After the show reboot announcement was made, it was revealed the likes of Linda Barker, 59, and Carol Smillie, 58, won’t be returning.

Sun, Sea & Obesity (w/t) for digital TV channel Quest Red and Air TV’s  Derelict Rescue (w/t) for HGTV. The 8 x 60-minute series  Sun, Sea & Obesity follows a group of British guests as they travel to a holiday resort in Antigua to experience a “judgment free vacation” and accept their bodies with the help of specialist staff. Derelict Rescue, meanwhile, (pictured) is a 10 x 60-minute series following families in the UK as they turn rundown buildings into beautiful homes. Clare Laycock SVP and head of lifestyle and entertainment brands at Discovery UK and Ireland ordered the programs, which were commissioned by Charlotte Reid, head of commissioning for lifestyle and entertainment at Discovery UK. Deirdre Dowling is commissioning executive for Quest Red and HGTV.
