minister, zarif which initially was described as coming as a bit of a surprise to u.s. officials. then they said, no, no, no. we weren t surprised. french president macron told us about this before all of this transpired. when emmanuel macron and president trump come out here, perhaps we ll get some kind of clarification as to those leaders as to what happened with all that. the president has been as we see with many of these summits from time to time, john, he creates his own distractions. he creates various news cycles within just a 24-hour period. he was saying earlier this morning he wants to hold a g7 summit next year in miami perhaps at his doral golf course, his golf resort, which is right next to the miami airport. that raises ethical questions as to whether or not the president is trying to profit off his own presidency by holding a very big and expensive g7 summit at one of his own personal properties. so no shortage of questions. perhaps there will be a question
for us to the president s next trip next week to poland. so we have a press conference coming today, but the president has been very chatty already today. he s had three meetings that he took questions for quite a bit of time from reporters. so i m sure there will be more questions that we have at the press conference, but he ll be addressing that in a couple hours. then yes, he comes back to washington for a few days and he s right back to poland. there s going to be a world war ii commemoration there, a lot of international leaders are going to be there. and of course he was planning on tacking on his denmark trip but that got canceled. if i can look forward to one more thing. the next year g7 summit is in the u.s. the u.s. hosts it and he said today that he s looking at having it at his doral golf course in miami. he went on and on about what a great location that would be. and another thing to note as the host he would be able to invite
