Motopark’s Jak Crawford dominated Euroformula’s first ever race at Imola, despite a safety car interruption.
The Red Bull junior raced away from pole, establishing a lead of over two seconds straight away while fellow front-row man Cameron Das started slowly and was passed by Cem Bolukbasi and Louis Foster.
At Tamburello, Foster tried going around the outside of Bolukbasi but compromised himself, enabling Das to get through. The debuting Roman Stanek was just behind them, and this quartet of cars battled through the first half of the race.

Australian karter Marcos Flack, a finalist in the recent first running of the Ferrari Driver Academy’s scouting world final, will step into single-seaters this year.
The teenager has said he will drive for Argenti Motorsport in British Formula 4, and then for R-ace GP (pictured above) in select rounds of ADAC and Italian F4 after trialling the cars from the respective series in Australia with MTEC Motorsport and in Britain with Argenti at several circuits, as well as in the FDA shootout tests.
Flack raced karts domestically in 2020 as well as making his car racing debut, and was an Energy Corse driver in Europe’s junior karting scene the year before after several seasons spent in Mini karts.
