Eastside Fire & Rescue will hold an open house from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Jan. 20 at Mercer Island Fire Station 92 (8473 SE 68th St.). The event was rescheduled from Jan. 13 due to the weather. In celebration of the city’s contract with Eastside Fire & Rescue, Chief Ben Lane and staff will be on hand to answer questions. There will also be station and apparatus tours, displays, coffee/cookies and kids’ activities.
