EFLU Proctor removed from post, students call it partial fulfilment of demands
The English and Foreign Languages University (EFLU) in Hyderabad has appointed a new Proctor following student protests against the administration. Professor J Savithri will replace the previous Proctor, T Samson, who will now be EFLU's Dean of Planning. The protests began after a female student was sexually assaulted on campus. The students demanded the resignation of Vice Chancellor Suresh Kumar and Proctor T Samson, who allegedly downplayed the incident.
