Several homes were destroyed including one belonging to a woman who had just passed away. her family heartbroken. it was the last thing we had that we could come to and be a part of. where she lived and this is where she died. it s very hard to see it s gone like she is. elizabeth is live with details. reporter: good to see you. severe thunderstorms and tornadoes ripping through the southeast leading to flash flooding and in north carolina, nine and 12-year-old girl were hit by lightning. both saved but some have seen some parts 25 degrees cooler. with that shift of trp came a is very violent storm system.
