After her husband’s death in 2003, Pat returned to Pennsylvania in 2010, where she resided in an assisted-living facility.People who knew Pat told many stories about her helpfulness and caring concerning friends, family members, and strangers. Her family members related how she still loved them sincerely however their lives deviated from the faith. Ellen talked about how her husband and her parents stood watch for days at the hospital after she nearly died during her second caesarean section in 1996,

C Company Cadets deliver Christmas cheer in Mid and East Antrim C Company 1st (NI) Battalion Army Cadet Force (ACF) have helped to spread a bit of Christmas cheer by delivering gifts to members of the Evergreen’s Pensioner’s Club. Wednesday, 23rd December 2020, 5:00 pm The Evergreen’s Pensioner Club members reside in the towns of Ballymena and Larne and the surrounding villages, as far as Cloughmills to Islandmagee. In normal circumstances they have monthly meetings, promoting friendships, learning new skills, promoting social interaction, day trips and information sessions. In the past, cadets have come to sessions to give talks on the military history in the area. Unfortunately this year, their normal activities have not been possible and many of the Evergreen members have not seen each other since the first initial lockdown.
