Homecoming 2021 is in full swing as students explore iconic American streets on a cross-country “road trip.” The fun began with Jack Harlow in concert for Swoop’s Ball on Oct. 16 and continues through this weekend.
Emory will celebrate Homecoming Oct. 16-24 with a full schedule of on-campus festivities. The week also includes a 2O36 kickoff event on Friday, Oct. 22, and the return of the Homecoming parade and festival on Saturday, Oct. 23.

Enku Gelaye has been promoted to senior vice president and dean of campus life, effective May 1. Gelaye has served as Emory’s vice president and dean of Campus Life since August 2019.
“This promotion recognizes both the outstanding contributions Enku has made since joining Emory and the importance to the Emory community of her role as the leader of Campus Life,” says Jan Love, interim provost and executive vice president of academic affairs.
Gelaye is responsible for 15,000 undergraduate, graduate and professional students in areas such as undergraduate residential life, health and wellness, athletics and civic engagement.

As an additional way to achieve a healthier start in 2021, employees can earn points toward medical incentive dollars in Healthy Emory Connect by participating in Better Choice Campaign activities from Jan. 19 through Feb. 14.
