Former fishermen who once worked at Palekula on Santo for the South Pacific Fishing Company (SPFC) have come forward to confirm firsthand the environmental impact of the slipway in Palekula.
World Blood Donor Day was observed at Feiawa Park, featuring the campaign slogan for 2023, “Give blood, give plasma, share life, share often,” yesterday.
Preparations are currently underway for the upcoming 7th Melanesian Arts and Culture Festival (MACFEST) at Saralana Park, with the construction of stalls in progress.
