[ gunshot ] my god. that was social media showing what was happening. since then many students have parkland, florida have made their voices heard pro actively and they ve used social media to call people out, to criticize what they want to change and to organize each other under hash tags like never again. that is part of what led up to today s event organized by those same students. many took the opportunity today to talk to their fellow classmates about being voters. at some point we have to stop and realize enough is enough! we are here because our voices matter. we are here because we know we can make a change. we ve already seen what we can do. our voices do matter. march, rally and register to vote. never let anybody tell you what you can or can t do. we are the change we wish to see in the world. we are the future.
