So last summer the catholic worker house held a fundraiser at the quarter barrel arcade and brewery to help pay for those improvements. Beth, its board of directors decided lat shelter. A family is normally allowed only 90 days to stay at the catholic worker house. During that time they are expected to find a job and permanent housing. But some families cant do that in three months. So the extended shelter will give three families at a time an extra six months to get back on their feet.
