Secretary of Education Dr. Miguel Cardona offered praise for Oklahoma’s CareerTech system recently while touring Francis Tuttle Technology Center in Oklahoma City.
One of my passions is CareerTech education. After a successful and rewarding career as a teacher, principal and superintendent, I am grateful for the opportunity to grow and advance the mission of Oklahoma CareerTech as the system’s new state director.
It started in 2015 when a group of Oklahoma City commercial real estate professionals attended a national conference of CREW (Commercial Real Estate Women), a global business organization for women in commercial real estate.
Education and training programs for the film industry recently have been established in high schools in some of Oklahoma City’s economically disadvantaged areas.
