Uniindia: Srinagar, April 24 (UNI) The National Investigation Agency (NIA) on Monday attached the properties of two sons of Hizbul Mujahideen Chief Mohammad Yousuf Shah alias Syed Salahuddin, in Jammu and Kashmir’s Budgam and Srinagar districts.
Hizbul Mujahideen chief Syed Salahudeen’s sons Shahid Yusuf and Syed Ahmed Shakeel are lodged in Delhi’s Tihar Jail since their arrests in October 2017 and August 2018. The NIA launched investigations in November 2011 into the criminal conspiracy to raise funds to commit terrorist acts and distribute funds among the terror groups.
The immovable properties of Shahid Yusuf and Syed Ahmed Shakeel – in Soibugh tehsil of Budgam district and in Srinagar's Nursing Garh – have been attached.
Three sons of Syed Salahuddin, the self-styled commander of UJC, have already been sacked from government services for their involvement in terror activities.
