(McKenzie Co., ND) -- Officials with Chord Energy say a product spill has occurred at a well in McKenzie County. The North Dakota Oil and Gas Division confirmed yesterday there were 500 barrels of oil released on Saturday because of an equipment malfunction. The spill was contained on-site and cleanup is ongoing. A state inspector is monitoring the cleanup.
