That ronalds and mine was. Remembering former first lady nancy reagan. She died today in her home in los angeles at the age of 94. The former actress and advocate was known for taking an active role in the white house as Ronald Reagans closest advisor and fierce protector. Roz plater joins us in the studio with more on her lasting legacy. Roz in her memoir, the first lady spoke fondly. For a while she lived with family in the bethesda area. She was born and Francis Robbins in new york city in 1921. Nancy would become her nickname. When her parents separated, she moved to bethesda, maryland. 1925, they becmame friends. Headed west to hollywood to become an actress. One of her last appearances on screen was with her husband ronald reagan.
