The Crown's Josh O'Connor was gutted to not be able to celebrate his and his co-star's nominations at this year's Golden Globe Awards together, due to the on-going coronavirus pandemic. The 30 year-old actor, who plays Prince Charles in the hugely popular Netflix period drama, sent out a touching message to his fellow pals ahead of the ceremony, for which he is up for Best Performance by an Actor in a TV Series, Drama.

Ricky Gervais' Golden Globes have become somthing of a talking point when the prestigious annual ceremony rolls around that's seen him host on and off for five years. The 59-year-old comedian never failed to leave Hollywood's finest and viewers watching at home gobsmacked with his dark sense of humour and risqué jokes, often brutally targeting certain guests with eye-raising comments - all in jest of course, but rendering even the biggest of stars including Tom Hanks, unimpressed.
EMMA CORRIN, actress in Netflix's The Crown, paid a loving tribute to Princess Diana after she won an award for portraying her into he fourth series of the period drama.
