Chinese cars are on the rise. They are improving all the time, and you only need to contemplate the latest 2021 Haval H6 or GWM Tank 300, for instance, to see where Chinese R&D is headed.
And when I sampled a range of MG and Roewe products at the SAIC Motor proving ground at Guangde in China two years ago, I did come away impressed.
Long-term ownership may be a different proposition, but carsales is currently testing the MG HS Plug-in Hybrid (PHEV) in that context, and so far it has a few runs on the board.
