Chandigarh: In a shocking incident, a 16-year-old boy allegedly sexually assaulted and impregnated his 18-year-old mentally-challenged sister in Yamunanagar district of Haryana. The incident came to the fore after someone alerted the officials of Child Helpline, a non-government organization (NGO) on Thursday.

Kurukshetra: In a shocking incident reported from the Kurukshetra district of Haryana, a Class 12 girl student was gang raped by five men in a hotel. One of the accused includes a minor.
The horrific incident took place in Babain area on Monday. Police have now arrested three accused identified as Ajay (18), Abhishek (18) and a juvenile. Of the three, two were remanded to judicial custody by a court on Wednesday and the third minor was sent to an observation home.
Twelve awarded life term in double-murder case
Two persons had died and six were injured in the 2010 firing incident at Barchhapper village in Hansi II block, around 25 km from the district headquarters.

HISAR: A court sentenced 12 people for life on Monday for killing two persons during a dispute over encroachment on panchayat land in Haryana's Hisar district over a decade ago.
The court had held all the accused guilty for the crime on February 11.
Additional District and Sessions Judge G S Wadhwa announced the sentence and also imposed penalties on all the convicts under various sections of the Indian Penal Code and the Arms Act, according to the complainant's lawyer, Mohinder Singh Nain.

PANIPAT: In another shocking case of Honor Killing, a 23 year-old man was stabbed to death in Panipat Market, Haryana. The incident took place on Friday night, where the man was stabbed by his own brother-in-law.
The victim Neeraj, recently married a woman from a different caste. His wife Komal’s family was unhappy with the match. This resulted in Komal’s brother and one of the relatives to attack Neeraj in the Bhavna chowk market. The CCTV cameras recorded the entire incident. It can be seen that Neeraj was stabbed multiple times.

Rohtak: A couple who planned to marry were shot dead in broad daylight here on Wednesday in a suspected case of honour killing, police said.
The parents of the man, aged around 25, and the woman, who was nearly 27 years old, were to meet for working out some modalities for a court marriage. However, the woman's family did not turn up, Deputy Superintendent of Police Sajjan Singh said.

Haryana: Nepalese woman gang-raped by 5 men in Yamunanagar, husband tied up
 Yamunanagar (Har), Dec 26 (PTI) A Nepalese woman was allegedly raped by five men in front of her husband in a village in Harayana. According to police, the accused entered the victim's rented house Thursday night. They beat up the woman's husband, a farm labourer, and tied him with ropes. The accused then took turns to rape her.
âFive persons with covered faces came in a car at the tubewell around 11 pm on Thursday. I along with my daughter was sleeping in the room and my husband was sleeping in the verandah. They tied my husband. Four persons raped me,â a report by The Times of India quoted the survivor as saying.
