WHECTV ROCHESTER, N.Y. (WHEC) — A Rochester man is recovering after being shot Thursday morning. Police say the shooting happened on Hazelwood Terrace near Denver Street around 1 a.m. Officers found several bullet casings in the street, but the man was taken to the hospital by someone nearby. The man is expected to survive. The shooting came just hours after two people were shot near Herald Street. News10NBC spoke to Reggie Boykins, a neighbor who told us he's tired of the violence. News10NBC "Too many children around for that to be happening," Boykins said. "I don't want my sister to be out here, I don't want that happening to her."
