Police reported receiving a report at 12:05 p.m. Sunday of children, who appeared to be about two years old, on the ledge at an east-end apartment building.
There was no screen or barrier on the window to prevent a fall from the ledge.
Police also charged the woman with two counts of breaching an undertaking. She was released on conditions and is to appear Jan. 21 in court. The Highland Shores Children’s Aid Society is also involved, police added.
