The attack, part of a series of incidents in the Red Sea, highlighted the Navy s commitment to maritime security in the region.
INS Kochi, a destroyer deployed by the Indian Navy responded following the attack on the tanker, MV Andromeda Star, officials said, adding that the crew is safe.
