RCMP have released information about a homicide in Yarmouth that took place last night. Around 11:30 p.m., Yarmouth Town RCMP were called to a home on King St. where a man was suffering from a gunshot wound. In a release, police say they located a 41-year-old man outside the home. EHS tried to treat the man but he succumbed to his injuries. RCMP are continuing to investigate with the RCMP Southwest Nova Major Crime Unit leading the investigation. RCMP looking for witnesses in suspicious death investigation SHARE ON: The Alberta RCMP Major Crimes Unit is looking for witness information in a suspicious death investigation. On April 17th, around 5PM, RCMP officers were called out to a man who had been found dead on a sidewalk in the 5300 block of 50 Avenue. VICTORIA -- Port Alberni RCMP say a suspect has been arrested after a 20-year-old man was found dead earlier this week. The body of Clifton Johnston was found in Port Alberni on Saturday morning. Police said RCMP Major Crimes Unit South has taken the lead in the investigation with the assistance of the Watrous detachment, Saskatoon RCMP Forensic Identification Section, RCMP Police Dog Services, the Saskatchewan Coroners Service and a forensic anthropologist.
