Since the train flew down the tracks without any man in control. And now hes out of a job. 7news has confirmed David Vasquez no longer works for the mbta. There were about 50 people on board last week when the train left the mbta station and traveled mans for about 9 minutes. Thankfully no one was hurt. Investigators say vasquez tied a cord around the throttle and did not set the brakes before he got off the train, again that driver no longer works for the mbta tonight.
