Share Via Email   |  A+A A- By PTI GUWAHATI: To deal with the second wave of the pandemic, Assam is continuously increasing the number of oxygen-supported beds, and it also has enough stock of Remdesivir vials, state Health Minister Kesab Mahanta said on Friday. Addressing a press conference here, Mahanta said, there are about 13,863 beds for treatment of coronavirus patients in government hospitals and COVID-19 Care Centres (CCCs), including 787 ICU beds, 11,154 isolation beds, and 1,922 oxygen-supported beds, Mahanta said.

Walia will step into the role on July 1, 2021, following the retirement of current COO, Guido De Wilde, announced last month. Hon'ble Calcutta High Court safeguards 'IIHM' logo and acronym from misuse by other institutions ANI | Updated: Dec 11, 2020 11:53 IST New Delhi [India], December 11 (ANI/PRNewswire): Victory at last for the International Institute of Hotel Management (IIHM) after a long-drawn battle against the Indian Institute of Hotel Management that falsely been using the acronym 'IIHM'. The Calcutta High Court has granted an injunction restraining the Indian Institute of Hotel Management from using the same expression mark or logo carrying the acronym IIHM for its business name, style or any use whatsoever. This means that the institute will not be able to communicate or publicise itself using the IIHM acronym either on advertisements, hoardings or other materials.
