Your children were shot by some kidnappers who recently went on the rampage at Afor Awo Omamma market. Tell us exactly how it happened?
Paschal, my only son, was killed on February 3 during the invasion of Afor Awo Omamma market by some kidnappers. He was three years old and he was in Nursery 1 at St. Patrick’s School, Isieke, Awo Omamma. My daughter, Chidinma, is a six-year-old pupil of the same school. She was also shot on her chest and left hand. Paschal died but Chidimma was taken to the hospital where doctors battled to save her life.

Ebonyi CP confirms death of 3 Police Officers in road accident, as 10 others sustain serious injuries

The Commissioner of Police Ebonyi State Command, CP, Garba Aliyu on Wednesday confirmed the death of three police officers in a ghastly motor accident at Isieke Junction along Abakaliki Enugu express-way.
CP, Aliyu revealed that there were thirteen officers in the Hilux van returning from a peacekeeping mission in Effium community.
He noted that ten out of the thirteen officers sustained serious injuries and were taken to the hospital.
CP Aliyu who confirmed the incidents to newsmen said: “Yes, I am in the hospital now, we lost 3 officers while 10 are in intensive unit care”, he said.

Ebonyi State died on Wednesday in a road accident at the Isieke Junction on Abakaliki-Enugu Highway.
The Commissioner of Police in the State, Garba Aliyu, who confirmed the incident to journalists, said 10 other police officers sustained injuries in the accident.
“Yes, I am in the hospital now, we lost three officers while 10 others are under intensive care in the hospital,” Mr Aliyu said.
The accident occurred while the officers were returning from a “peace-keeping mission” after a communal crisis in Ezza-Effium, Ohaukwu Local Government Area of the state, the police commissioner said.
