Finals preview?
Eh, may be a bit early to make that proclamation, but the Pacers host the Suns on Saturday night with both teams sitting in second place in their respective overall conference.
Devin Booker leads the Suns in scoring at almost 22 points per game but has yet to find the electric flow to his game we saw in the Orlando bubble. But with Chris Paul added to the mix, the upstart Suns have adult/mentor/Hall of Famer putting them in position to win games.
The Suns will be on a back-to-back after dumping a game late in Detroit on Friday night. The Pacers should be well rested after two full days off at home with one practice on Friday. Nate Brjokgren sounded hopeful that Doug McDermott (ankle) would be good to go after he practiced without issue on Friday.

Matchup
Before heading out for a five-game Western Conference road trip next week, the Pacers (6-2) will host the Phoenix Suns (6-3) in a Saturday night showdown between two teams near the top of their respective conference standings.
The Pacers have a pair of tight contests earlier this week, a dramatic overtime victory in New Orleans on Monday and a 114-107 win over the Rockets on Wednesday. In both contests, Indiana defense locked down in the closing minutes of regulation. The Blue & Gold held New Orleans without a field goal over the final 3:45 of regulation while rallying from a 10-point deficit to force overtime, then held Houston scoreless for the final 2:36 of Wednesday's contest.
Chicago Bulls

th in Eastern Conference
Analysis: For the third straight season, the Chicago Bulls missed the playoffs. While 2021 might not reverse that trend, there is significantly more optimism around the Bulls now than the previous few years.
After a long run with John Paxson and Gar Forman leading the front office, Chicago finally made a change at the top of the organization. The Bulls hired Arturas Karnisovas from the Denver Nuggets, and he revamped the entire front office. Karnisovas built a reputation as a savvy talent evaluator in Denver and was part of a group that built one of the Western Conference’s deepest teams.
