Police say a 64-year-old man died after being hit by a transport truck at a business in Flamborough Tuesday morning. Investigators say his death is considered Hamilton's 12th traffic fatality, the 11th involving a pedestrian, this year.
Hamilton police say the 36-year-old man who died at Janco Steel was the victim of a collision involving a vehicle and is the city's ninth pedestrian killed in a crash this year.
Emergency crews were called to Janco Steel Ltd.'s location on Arvin Avenue just before 10:30 a.m., according to paramedic superintendent Dave Thompson.
