we re coming down to the wire for super bowl xlviii, two days and counting. if you re still planning your party menu, we have mouth-watering twists on the sports party food. joining us is josh sharkey of bark, a gourmet hot dog shop in brooklyn. what makes a hot dog gourmet. gourmet is not the word that comes to mind. i think gourmet would be the meat that we use. you know, we only use three cuts of meat. you don t have fillers and ear and intestine. it s pork shoulder, pork belly, beef shoulder, that s it. and you have to have good snack, of course. hot dogs and wings. a super bowl party in the making. what are we going to make? we re making a buttermilk blue cheese dressing. i m going to have you whip it up for me. we have sour cream in the bowl. a little vinegar. good. pour it in, good. any special kind of vinegar? we use a really, really good red wine vinegar.

all fired up all right. the countdown is on as super bowl xlviii will and new york city has become a mecca for all things football. transformed into super bowl boulevard. organizers are hoping for a million people to pass through between now and the big day. visitors can kick a field goal, ride a giant toboggan, snap pictures of themselves in football gear and see the vince lombardi trophy. people from all over the world are there. the seahawks will smash them. i ve got a really good feeling. super bowl boulevard up and running through tomorrow. a big part of the game is entertainment, of course. yesterday two of the star performers discussed their participation before the big event. bruno mars who will perform the halftime show along with the red hot chili peppers gave no hint about what they will be doing. he said they will be smiling and dancing. i have no doubt they will succeed. he also says his pompadore will will stay in place no matter what. must be
