12-year-old boy killed. In Dokolo, a 12-year-old boy was killed in February in what is suspected to be domestic violence. The deceased identified as Oscar Omara, was a resident of Agulu Division, Apac Municipality in Apac District.
Mr Fred Onyanga, the Aminteng Village vice chairperson, said the child had been living with his stepmother after their father separated with their mother two years ago.

The ruling National Resistance Movement (NRM) party on Monday swept all the five youth slots across the country, exerting its supremacy over the budding youth-driven National Unity Platform (NUP) party.
Youth elections are held through the electoral college system of voting. Under the system, only a few youth or voters, who are delegates, represent the majority voters. Youth comprise 78 per cent of the country’s population.

A grade one Magistrate Court in Lira City Tuesday remanded 13 supporters of the National Unity Platform (NUP) to Lira Government Prison after they were charged with obstructing police officers on duty.
The presiding magistrate, Igga Adiru heard that the suspects while at Alito Sub-county in Kole District on December 11, 2020 resisted and blocked Augustine Oluga and other police officers from executing their duties.
The 13 who include two women were arrested at NUP presidential candidate, Robert Kyagulanyi’s rally in Kole. They denied the charges against them in court.
