Neighbours in the small Grey County community surveyed the damage and traded stories just over an hour after strong winds cracked trees in half and ripped a wall off a home being built across the street from the community centre.

Environment Canada issued a warning for the area just before 5 p.m., after confirming a tornado touched down in Chatsworth and was moving east at 50 km/h toward Walter’s Falls.
