Lunar New Year celebrations are underway and Kitchener chef Jannell Lo says that to mark the occasion, along with delicious dishes to eat there are also traditions to follow.
"On the first day, there is no sweeping so that you don't brush away the good luck of the new year," she said.
Lunar New Year, which started on Friday, honours and celebrates home, family and ancestors, as well as prosperity and traditional deities.
