street corridor. we ll dig more into that in a moment. first, it is a storm team 4 weather alert day. tom kierein tracking some severe storms. this is the first round of our spring season of the potential for severe storms. right now we do have scattered storms in ohio down into kentucky and tennessee. this did produce severe weather yesterday afternoon a tornado there in illinois. the area of storms that will be affecting us is in kentucky. and it is still about 9 1/2 hours away of getting into our region. so that will be maybe around 3:00 or so and a little bit after that farther to our east. right now around the metro area, just a little bit of scattered drizzle around. don t have anymore rain and temperatures are chilly. right now we re hovering just in the mid-40s around the metro area but warmer air beginning to push into the shenandoah valley. southwesterly breeze will be warming us up into the afternoon and that threat of storms increases. a look at the severe storm
