Macys hand while arriving in court in boston today to hear her fate. The first of many parents to be sentenced in operation varsity blues. The punishment for being part of one of the largest College Admissions scams 14 days in jail, 250 hours of Community Service and a 30,000 fine. The sentence for one count of conspiracy to commit mail fraud. Almost six months to the day after the fbi arrested the hollywood actress at her home. Huffman plead guilty in may. The judge made it clear that she wants to send a message that just because youve got money and youve got privilege it doesnt mean that you can get away with Something Like this. The

Bearing in mind, youre not an expert on election law, but i want to stick with one point that geoff just raised there about the dangers, the legal dangers of taking a meeting with representatives of a foreign country to offer dirt here on an opposing candidate in a u. S. Election. Help us understand the legal consequences of that. Theres a very specific statute that prohibits this kind of conduct. It makes it illegal to accept or to solicit a donation or a contribution related to a u. S. Election from either a foreign citizen or a foreign government. So on its face, that prohibition would seem to apply pretty clearly. If, for instance, while run
