Vaccine centre volunteers treated to tea and cake thanks to local businesses

Picture Susie Hamilton VOLUNTEERS helping to roll out coronavirus vaccinations at Skipton Hospital were treated to hot drinks and cakes courtesy of the town’s Carr Windows. The Skipton based windows and doors company paid for catering business Cobble Kitchen, owned by Susie Hamilton, to serve up refreshments for an afternoon from her iconic Citroen H Van. The volunteers do four-hour shifts marshalling and directing the arrival of hundreds of patients for vaccination, working outdoors no matter the weather, and even making sure the car park was properly gritted during the recent cold weather.
