They were dumbing more water and i was thinkg, oh my gosh this is going to get worse. Jay overhead sky 7 showed it did get worse spreading to 13 homes. Firefighters say it began as a grassfire on nearby highway 101. Hot, dry conditions fuelled the situation. The fire went into the trees and the winds started blowing it down the side of the freeway. It dropped hot embers on the homes below. Homes damaged and now red tagged. It is on fire and you have to get out now. They went and they didnt grab anything. Reporter marcy lewis said her elderly in laws escaped their Burning House in time. Many things in the family home can be salvaged. Bill was not as lucky.
