Tent City in Charlotte is North Carolina’s largest homeless encampment and with the pandemic reducing the number of residents allowed in homeless shelters, it’s increasing. But despite the circumstances, volunteers Magena Morris, Tyler Bone and Nic White, are helping out.
Once a month the three bring racks of clothes and shoes for the community for a pop-up shop as a way to donate the clothes in a humanizing way. “We see them smiling,” White told the Associated Press. “Because they’re like, ‘Oh, you cared about me enough to provide me the opportunity to choose my own clothing in a way that dignifies me.’”

interview from prison. tune in 8:00 p.m. eastern. well this is an amazing story. teachers and principals accused of cheating students out of an education by cheating on standardized tests. that is right. this is what happened here in atlanta. five educators have now so far turned themselves in to face charges in one of the country s biggest cheating scandals. in all, 35 teachers and administrators were indicted. so these are the details. they re pretty shocking actually. teachers and principals wearing gloves to avoid leaving fingerprints on test papers. groups holding changing parties to erase wrong answers and fill in the right ones. even using coolers to transport test papers. former georgia attorney general mike bower investigated the cheating scandal and joins us now. this is unbelievable when you take a look at this. give us some of the details, some of the details that shocked you when you learned about what was happening. well, we looked at some 56
0 when i talked to bowers this afternoon he expected a lot of people were scrambling to get money together to bond out. when you re talking about at million dollars in bond being set, $7.5 million, you have to put up 10%, that s an awful lot of money for a teacher to come up with. low score, out the door? defenders of the educators now blaming programs like no child left behind for incentivizing cheating. but is that excuse to justify bad behavior? fox news legal analyst and democratic consultant. julia, do you the question, do you plame the teachers or the tests? which side are you for? you blame the teachers for cheating. there s no excuse for that. especially people who instruct students not cheat. there are problems with theses because a lot of what no child left behind created is a culture of teaching to the test, and there must be a better way of educating our kid. would where do you put the blame? of course on the teachers for cheating. but we do need to look at at
