As the day progressed, the RAF teams patrolled the streets in Rajiv Chowk, IFFCO Chowk, MG Road, Badshapur, Maruti Kunj, and Sector 57, where a mosque was torched a little after Monday midnight and a 23-year-old man sleeping inside was killed. Off NH-8 in Kherki Daula, a scrap dealer’s godown near Hyatt Regency was set ablaze in the afternoon. The shop, which had plastic and cardboards stacked inside, was gutted in no time.
