NDMC issues helpline for proper disposal of Ram Dhwaj, national flags

In a thoughtful move to ensure the dignified disposal of religious and national flags utilized during the recent consecration ceremony in Ayodhya and ongoing Republic Day celebrations, the New Delhi Municipal Council (NDMC) has introduced a centralised helpline. Residents can now use the complaint number 1533 and the 311 app to inform the NDMC for the appropriate collection and disposal of these flags. The council has assigned fourteen sanitary inspectors for efficient flag collection, urging residents, market associations, and institutions to deposit flags at designated NDMC offices.
