Voices Of Poetry Will Take Place Online

The Sturgis Library is hosting Voices of Poetry, an online reading event with Mary Buchinger, Eileen Cleary, Jeannette de Beauvoir and Richard Hoffman, on Wednesday, May 26, at 6 PM. The event will take place over Zoom and is free and open to all. Registration is via e-mail at sturgisreference@comcast.net. Mary Buchinger is the author of six collections of poetry. She has three books which will soon be published and is also the author of the nonfiction book, “How to Listen to Chronic Pain Narratives.” Her work has been published in numerous journals, including About Place Journal, AGNI Online, Ars Poetica, The Cortland Review, and Rattle. Ms. Buchinger is president of the New England Poetry Club and professor of English and communication studies at Massachusetts College of Pharmacy and Health Sciences University in Boston.
