Ogun: Two arrested after shooting okada rider in Ifo

Daily Post Nigeria Published The police in Ogun State said they arrested two armed robbery suspects at Olambe area of Akute, in Ifo local government area of the state. The two suspects, Lukman Olanrewaju (27) and Shola Alabi (28) were reportedly nabbed on Sunday, following a distress call received by the DPO of Ajuwon station, SP Andrew Akinseye at about 5pm. The Ogun police spokesman, Abimbola Oyeyemi, told DAILY POST that the three-man armed robbery gang were operating at Olambe when the DPO was called. It was reported that the suspects shot one commercial motorcyclist identified as Anas Usman and snatched his bike.

Speaking during the inauguration in Abeokuta the governor noted that the operatives of the Amotekun security outfit had been carefully chosen and trained to secure lives and property.
