The number of New Jersey schools offering virtual-only instruction has dropped 71% since the start of the school year, as districts continue to grapple with how to educate students during the coronavirus pandemic.
As of April 17, 526 school districts were hybrid, 69 were remote and 186 were fully in-person — the fourth week in a row the number of in-person districts increased. Thirty districts have different educational formats for different schools.

(EAST ORANGE/ORANGE, NJ) - On this last day of Women’s History Month, before the clock strikes 12 midnight, TAPinto wanted to pause from all the Coronavirus news and take the time to highlight women in our communities making a difference.
In honor of the many s-heroes, we have created our second annual “East Orange and Orange 100 Women of Power and Progress” list.
The criteria used to select each woman was as follows: 1. The woman must be a resident of or work in East Orange or Orange. 2. She must use her life and platforms by way of career, volunteerism, social media, etc. to promote positivity, unity, and the uplifting of other women within one of the two municipalities and beyond.

PEPPER PIKE, Ohio — The Orange School District is off to a good start in its return to full-day, in-person learning, building principals told the Orange Board of Education Monday (March 8).
March 1 marked the first time since March of last year that the district has offered a full-day, in-person instructional model.
The district had been in a hybrid model since Jan. 11. Prior to that, it had been in a fully remote model for most of the school year.
The fully remote model, which has been available to all students since August, continues to be an option.
