Louisiana Senate Bill 1 of 2023 Regular Session was vetoed by Gov Edwards, which provides for phaseout of LA corporation franchise tax and would have reduced franchise tax by 25% a year. It's possible SB 1 could still be revived or passed by Legislature via veto session.
