WEST PLAINS, Mo. – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will be offering a Supervision Boot Camp: Frontline Series in June. Supervisors today face a world of tremendous change and challenge. This program is designed for new and experienced supervisors and managers who want to keep their knowledge and skill consistent with, or a step ahead, of the demands of the work place. The Boot Camp has been designed to build skills in the basic competencies that supervisors need most in leading employees to greater individual, team, and organizational performance. The Boot Camp is aimed primarily at supervisors, group leaders, and lead persons who have little formal training in effectively leading the work of others. Experienced supervisors will find the Boot Camp helpful in updating leadership skills and practices. WEST PLAINS, MO – The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will host two QuickBooks Workshops in partnership with the Missouri Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at Missouri State University. These workshops will be held on March 31 from 1 to 5 p.m. and April 23 from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m. QuickBooks Workshops: March 31, 2021 1 – 5 p.m. QuickBooks Online QuickBooks Online provides hands-on training on how to utilize the software to document and track the accounting activity of your business, no need to feel like you have to be an accountant. Topics include: understanding QuickBooks Online features, setting up your company, managing your company account and settings, navigating QuickBooks Online, recording sales, expenses, and purchases, understanding the report dashboard and how to generate reports, activating QuickBooks payments and benefiting from Intuit approved app add-ons.

The Ozarks Small Business Incubator (OzSBI) will host a free webinar in conjunction with Missouri SBDC at MSU- West Plains and the U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) covering updates on disaster loan funding on January 28, 2021 from 12-1 p.m. The latest updates on the SBA’s Economic Injury Disaster Loan (EIDL), Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) Loan, PPP Forgiveness, etc. will be discussed. Learn more about the current extension to apply for the EIDL and the process for requesting funding increases for current EIDL loans. Additional details of each programs will be discussed as the information becomes available from the SBA.
