MIDDLETOWN — Monday’s storm dumped more than a foot of snow on the city before ending early Tuesday, leaving officials to organize the rest of the cleanup of downtown streets that would have to happen overnight.
Public Works Director William Russo didn’t expect to learn the official snow totals for the city from the Connecticut Weather Center until Wednesday, but on Tuesday estimated that 12 to 15 inches fell across different parts of Middletown.
